Pick ONE of the essay topics below for your paper.

1. Discuss the effects of Magical Stranger in Literature as seen in "The Handsomest Drowned Man in the World", "The Temp" and Edward Scissorhands. 5.      In “Cathedral”, “The Allegory of the Cave” and The Truman Show, the theme of perception was represented and challenged by the authors of the stories and the writer of The Truman Show. Using examples from at least 2 of these texts explain how a character’s perception of life goes through some kind of transformation.
